Environmental Data Management
A significant portion
of environmental expenditures are for the management of data generated
from site assessment, remediation and continuing monitoring
activities. The timely and innovative presentation of data is often
instrumental in conveying complex hydrogeologic conditions and chemical
distributions in a simplified fashion that supports the identification
of source areas or the implementation of a cost effective remediation
alternatives. Ground Zero personnel are recognized experts in the field
of environmental data management. We use state-of-the-art Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) and database software to input and validate
environmental data and to create tables, graphs, and drawings that are
suitable for regulatory agency submittal, environmental claims
management, and litigation support. Our data management services
range from the electronic download and reporting of data from
environmental laboratories on a specific site to the input and graphical
review of data from entire basins for PRP identifications and cost
allocation model development. Graphics presentations range from the
preparation of geologic cross sections, fence diagrams and contour maps
for subsurface data evaluation to the preparation of court room
graphics in support of expert testimony on the toxicological properties
of chemicals.
